Dial An Exchange Timeshare, Vacation Ownership & Points Clubs Exchange Service

In order to serve you better Dial An Exchange Pty Ltd (DAE Companies - Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, United States, Thailand, China and India) have developed a number of simple terms and conditions that act as guidelines for the interaction between Dial An Exchange (DAE) and its members. If you have any questions relating to any of the conditions outlined below, please call one of our team and they will be happy to help you with your enquiries.

Gold Advantage Membership  On payment of the membership fee, Gold Advantage members have additional benefits over non gold advantage members, these include Priority Request, Advance Notice Availability, Pricing Advantages on selected transactions and other Promotional Offers when available.

The Terms of Your Deposit
1. The maintenance fees on the week you are depositing must be paid in full prior to final confirmation of your exchange. 2. The week you are depositing for your exchange cannot be utilized or assigned to another party or company. You must not deposit your week with more than one Exchange Company at a time in any one entitlement period, as this will cause an overbooking of your unit. Any expenses incurred to an inbound guest or DAE, denied access to your week as a result of a double banking with another Exchange Company, will be your responsibility. 3. A number of resorts like to bank the weeks on their owner's behalf. Please check with your resort if you are unsure of their procedures, or we can advise you which resorts operate on this basis. 4. We will accept the week you wish to bank up to eight (8) weeks prior to the expiration date (or check-in date) of your week.

Deposit Credit - (Bank & Save option) We will gladly bank weeks for you and as a member with Dial An Exchange; you will be issued with a "Deposit Credit". This Deposit Credit is valid for three (3) years from the date of deposit, and is available for you to exchange against at a future date. You are reminded to request early and make sure you get a confirmed exchange reservation against this Deposit Credit before the expiry date.

Miscellaneous Fees; Taxes. DAE Members are solely responsible for the payment of any and all bed tax, transient occupancy tax or similar tax that may be imposed in connection with the use and occupancy of the Accommodations or Holiday Property pursuant to an Exchange, whether such are included in the Exchange Fee or otherwise imposed.

DAE Members are solely responsible for payment of any applicable port charges, gratuities, personal expenses, utility charges, security deposits and other fees or charges properly levied by a Resort or other party for the use of amenities and facilities. DAE Members are solely responsible for all damage and loss to the Accommodations or Holiday Property at the Host Resort as a result of DAE Member's conduct (and the conduct of family, friends, invitees and Guests), as well as all personal charges incurred at the Host Resort including, without limitation, telephone calls, Internet service, meals and beverages, and any other applicable and permissible charges imposed by the Host Resort.

Some resort stays require or make available as an option, all-inclusive fees which are due upon check in, and pay for the guest's meals and beverages. These all-inclusive programs may include more or less, but are purely at the discretion of the resort. DAE has identified these resorts and labelled them accordingly in the displayable resort profile online. DAE members are solely responsible for all-inclusive fee payments to the Resort.

Bonus Weeks.  Bonus Time is comprised of deposited weeks that have not been booked in connection with a confirmed exchange. DAE makes Bonus Time available to all DAE Members. Bonus Time can be requested and reserved via email, facsimile, Internet (at the DAE Website), and telephone. DAE Members may reserve Bonus Time upon payment of the Bonus Time Price or upon the Exchange of a Resort Week, as the DAE Member may elect. In other words, if a Deposited Week is offered as Bonus Time and you desire use it for your holiday, you have the choice of either (i) exchanging your Resort Week and paying the Exchange Fee, or (ii) reserving the Deposited Week as Bonus Time and paying the Bonus Time Price. Reservations of Bonus Time are not complete until DAE receives the applicable Bonus Time Price or issues a Confirmed Exchange, as applicable. Your Guests may use the Bonus Time you reserve; provided, however, that (i) all Bonus Time reservations must be made by you, as the DAE Member, on behalf of your Guests, and (ii) you, as the DAE Member, are solely responsible for all damage and loss to the Accommodations or Holiday Property as a result of the conduct of Guests and their invitees, as well as all personal charges incurred in connection with the Bonus Time including, without limitation, telephone calls, Internet service, meals and beverages, and any other applicable and permissible charges.

Our Cancellation Policy
CPO is not available for Bonus Week or Rental Bookings or any Special or Promotional offers. It's only there to provide a safety net for regular exchange weeks. You can find out exactly how much CPO costs online at www.daelive.com.

Should you need to cancel your exchange vacation, no later than 24 hours prior to check-in, and you have purchased CPO, your banked week(s) will be saved for you to use at a later date (as long as the time is used before the original expiration date of your Credit). There will be no charge for the replacement exchange. You also have the option of accepting CPO again and paying an additional CPO fee on the replacement exchange reservation. No monetary refunds are allowed on cancellations.

If you decline CPO  If you decide you do not want to take up the option of CPO when you confirm your exchange, a different cancellation policy applies. The exchange fee will be forfeited, regardless of the length of notice given prior to the cancelled exchange. Cancellation of a confirmed exchange includes any amendments or change to dates of a booking (guest name change allowed). If you cancel more than 4 weeks before your check in date, your banked week will be saved for you to use at a later date up to the original expiry date. However, if you cancel within 4 weeks of your check in date, your week will be forfeited.

Cancellations of Bonus Time & Additional Benefits. CPO is not available for Bonus Weeks or Additional Benefits including, without limitation, "special" or "promotional" offers. Cancellation of any of these types of reservations results in forfeiture of the entire price paid in connection therewith.

In the event that a Resort becomes uninhabitable due to a natural disaster, DAE is not liable for the resulting cancellations. The Deposited Week used for this Exchange will not be eligible for another Exchange. An additional Exchange Fee will be required to confirm another Exchange Request using a newly deposited Resort Week.

Accommodations, services and amenities related to Inventory vary by location and Resort, and Accommodations and Holiday Property may vary in size, quality and décor. The total number of people occupying the Accommodation or Holiday Property must not exceed the maximum Occupancy of the unit set forth in the Exchange Confirmation or reservation; otherwise, access may be refused or an additional charge may be levied against the DAE Member.

DAE is not responsible for loss, damage to, or theft of personal property related to a DAE Member's use of Accommodations and/or Holiday Property, nor is DAE liable for personal or bodily injury to a DAE Member or its guests and invitees in connection with such use.

The unit size upgrade fee refund is included in the standard Cancellation Protection Option available on exchange transactions. Please note: Unit Size Upgrade option is only in selected DAE territories only.

If you are allowing guests to use your time, remember YOU are the responsible party. 1. All transactions are between DAE and its members; (not the member's guest). The third party rental for profit of confirmed accommodation space provided by DAE to the member is not permitted or allowed under any circumstances. All confirmations are noted with the name of the person to check-in at the destinations resort. A new confirmation will be issued by DAE and the destination resort will be notified accordingly. 2.
