The costs for the supplement are $80 for adults and $40 for children (ages 4-12). Children ages 4-12 are 50% of the adult rate.

A courtesy transfer from the airport to the resort may be arranged by emailing a request to reservations@lifestyleholidaysvc.com no less than two (2) weeks prior to arrival. This email must contain the name of the guest(s) scheduled to arrive, a reservation number, arrival date, flight arrival time, flight number and airline. The cost of a taxi back to the airport from the hotel is approximately $50 USD.

Disappointed and Glad to leave

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of this resort. It is very dated and not well maintained. I was shocked that they 'downgraded' us on arrival to a suite in an older section, instead of a 1 bedroom at the Residence Suites that we booked. We got our 1 bedroom the next day only after complaining. The room and furnishings are about the quality of motel 6 without the roaches. Plumbing issues were not resolved during the 2 weeks we were there in spite of repeated requests made. The windows rattled in their channels when there was wind, which is pretty constant. Furniture was worn out, mattress was uncomfortable and the mini fridge cranked out heat constantly - WTH?? The Cofresi beach and VIP beaches were crowded and not that clean. The VIP beach has free wifi, that doesn't work well, and you need the password. The wifi sales office sells the same inferior service for 25.00/24hr period. Don't waste your money. We had a 3rd level unit, and it was extremely noisy. All the AC units were directly below our room, the laundry facility was on the adjacent side, and the road ran directly beside us. None of the staff at this facility 'talk' to each other - they YELL all the time which is a frustrating invasion of privacy. VIP Party noise usually tones down after 11pm Food is very bland, staff treated us with indifference, and the selection of drinks was extremely limited, UNLESS you're a VIP guest or better. We were not since we exchanged banked weeks. The only 2 a la carte restaurants worth visiting are Trapiche and Blue Lagoon. This resort constantly hounds non VIP visitors with pressure sales to 'join' the LHVC family, for huge $$$, or 'upgrade offers'. It was not appreciated even after we said no thankyou several times. A shuttle service is provided which is nice. A 24hr Dr on staff. Watch out at the pharmacy - they charge 2 different rates depending on who is on staff. Take an umbrella - it rains a lot! We will not return here, nor recommend this resort.

Residence Suites at Lifestyles

Resort was beautiful. Staff extremely helpful. Knowledge of Spanish language would be helpful. There are many steps up to the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms, and getting around the different areas of the resort. Ramps are available, but not up to the rooms. Food and drink was good and plentiful, however birds can come and land on open food at the buffet. Cash is preferred for booking any excursions and taxis. Complimentary transportation from the airport to the resort was available, but return transportation is an extra cost. Depending on your level of service, not all areas are available to you. We were silver. VIP level is best.
