Nestled behind five hectares of protected indigenous coastal dunes, and surrounded by luxuriant gardens and sub-tropical parkland, it’s a Caribbean-style hideaway with its own pristine beach frontage. The golden sands and clear blue water of the Indian Ocean are, literally, at the bottom of the garden.
With its own private, boat-launching facility on the river, Caribbean Estates is a must for water-sports and angling enthusiasts. The latest check-in at reception is on a Monday is 18:00 and 20:00 on a Friday. then thereafter check-in will then be done by the security at the main gate. A key and breakage deposit fee is payable on arrival. It can be paid with credit card but credit card facilities are only available during office hours. After hours guests must either pay with cash or by cash cheque. This deposit is refundable after departure. The units offers a commercial bouquet of 13 DSTV channels. Cleaning services do not apply on Sundays. There are only communal braais at the resort. There are no sea views from any of the units on the resort. General: All complaints regarding resorts should be directed to the resorts itself and DAE will not be held liable for any complaints regarding the quality of accommodation, services, facilities and any other complaints relevant to the resort. The user shall be bound by the resort rules and the use agreement applicable between the member / shareholder and the Resort/Share block/Points Club. DAE will not be held responsible for any incorrect information supplied with regards to the resort not due to DAE's negligence. The resort reserves the right to refuse admittance if the booking confirmation letter is not produced, or if the number of persons exceeds that shown on the confirmation letter /unit configuration. Persons allowed include children of all ages. Check-in will only be allowed on presentation of a valid confirmation letter and corresponding guest ID. DAE does not take responsibility for any accommodation purchased from a second or third party or incorrect information supplied by a second / third party. On selling of DAE inventory is strictly prohibited which will result in termination of membership as well as cancellation of all reservations with full forfeiture of amounts paid.
